WINDOWS 8-ANOTHER FEATURE CONQUERED

Today, I ran into a program that was installed with my new computer.  It's called Cyberlink.  It's great fun not only to e-mail in video, but you can also take snapshots on the spot and send them too.  There are also features where you can draw on the photo, or for that matter, on nothing at all and just send that.  It's like a little Paint program, but only with a web cam.  You can also add special effects; i.e., hats, noses, distort your face, etc.  I don't know how I figured it out, but I did and sent a video over a minute long and some snapshots to several people.

I'm hoping I can use one of the snapshots for a photo of me for the organizations I belong to.  One didn't turn out too bad.  I know I should have edited the photos and the video, but this program is very limited as to what you can do.  Perhaps I can get the photo off of it and bring it over to my Photoshop, but who knows.  I'm hoping I can find the movie editor that was also included in my new computer package.  I'm sure I'll find it one of these days.  Day by day I'm finding Windows 8 a bit more understandable, but I've still got a long way to go.

Oh, windows 8 kicks my butt some days. I don't navigate it as quickly as the earlier versions. I wish I would have gotten the touch screen with it, it is very intuitive that way.
