I went down to the manager's office to pick up my loot I won from the monthly drawing and low and behold the melamine bowls, a set of four, were quite heavy. When I got back to my apartment and opened up the clam shell type of wrapping I found these bowls were really thick, like a crock bowl and they also had rubber rings on the bottoms so as to not slide around on your counter or table. How great they are and I have already made a salad in the bigger one and mixed some eggs up in the smallest one. Too bad they don't have tops for them. All in all, this was a great prize.
