The other day, in between rain storms, I hiked again with the local hiking/biking group. It was an eight mile hike round trip going further than I have on our El Dorado Trail. I know I've gotten out of shape and must keep going every day, but with all of this rain we've been having and are going to get, it's pretty hard to do.
The group was thinking of planning a snow shoe trip. I've always wanted to try that. Maybe it will come to fruition. In the meantime, I hope I have the strength to do it. Most of the people will be novice/beginner types so I feel better about it, but keeping up is another thing.
