JUST SPOTTED A SPOTTED TOWHEE

As I waited for my dial up to go to another page, I looked over at my feeders on my patio when I saw a different bird. At first I thought it was a Junco with its black head, shoulders and chest. But once I saw it's beautiful rust breast with white and white marking on it's wings, it was a new visitor checking out what was all the activity around the feeders on Buffy's restaurant patio. He looked and hopped around, took something off the decking. He was here for some time, so I was able to really study his markings so I could definitely identify him with my bird book. How exciting to have two different birds this winter visiting my patio restaurant. I hope he comes back and I'll be sure to take a photo of him.
