FIRST ATTEMPT

This is my first attempt at oil paint on gessoboard. It's a 5" X 7" of my friend's horse, Dusty. I would usually use canvas for oil, but gessoboard is a slick base that would make the horse's features sharp. When it's a little more dry, I'll go back and fix the ear, nostril and add more white to the forehead and other areas.
