FINAL DECISION

After contemplating and frustrating myself for about five years about selling the ranch, I've had it.  I'm selling the ranch.

I've talked to so many people in the real estate business and the only real facts about real estate is that is isn't getting any better.  And in my case, it's getting worse.

I learned a good piece of information also this past week.  The Obama plan that was supposed to help those people to keep their homes when their payments skyrocketed because of the ARM loans that were given them, well, those programs are now being renigged on.  Those people can't even make those payments, so those houses are going on the market.  There doesn't seem to be any kind of relief for anybody.

I also talked to a Reverse Mortgage Specialist.  To get that kind of a program, I would still have to sell my ranch and then an ARM loan would be given to me.  Who are these people who dream up these loan programs?  Of course, there's a cap of 13%.  How stupid do they think the public is?  Unfortunately, people are vulnerable at how bad they want the American Dream; many of whom aren't even American.

The people who voted for a person whom they thought was going to get this country going is only a person.  I laughed when the debates and endorsements and some of the comments made about this person whom they almost thought of a God was going to bring our country back.

Actually, I think in a way it brought a lot of people down to the level they "really" should be in. 

All of the large department stores closing was one of the best things that has happened over the years.  I thought in the 80s how many stores and malls do we need?  The malls were getting so large, it took several minutes of walking to get from one store to the next.  I was guilty of being one of those mice walking in the mall maze.  I was working at that time, making good money and why not?

Now, I wouldn't want to be someone looking for a job.  My solution to all of this is to limit the population in all countries.  When I'm told there are people homeless, starving and dying I, just say to myself when shown those poor people, dirty, starving; and yet they just keep having kids when they know they're in this world crying for help.  Getting a foothold on things with less people in the world is a good step, I believe.  We don't need any more people, polluting and starving in this world.  Amen.

Getting back to selling the ranch.  The game plan is to go down to the ranch next month when the weather is a bit warmer and put it on the market.  Sell it for anything I can get for it.
