These are the four free plants I got from the Organic Gardening class which I planted a couple days ago. I just couldn't deadhead them yet. Today was the day they got their heads cut off so their foliage will get all the nourishment instead of the flowers and build healthier, larger plants. I didn't add any fertilizer yet, just water, since the container soil is brand new and should provide nourishment for a while. I'll be watching the plants closely to see, probably in a month or so, when to give them a dose of fertilizer.
