This was painted in mixed media from a photo I took of my neighborn's cat in Southern California. I think I captured the eyes, nose and mouth fairly well. I have to work on fur textures more, but not bad for a first try.
Not bad at all! The face is really good (I love the nose!) and I really like the way you did the fur texture on the shoulder. Painting fur can drive a person crazy if you try to get too detailed with it, and you did a nice job keeping it loose. Thanks for your comment on my blog, btw.
