As I was meandering through some of the streets and bike/walk paths yesterday, I kept saying to myself, "This place is so beautiful." I kept seeing, in every direction my head turned, beautiful, natural landscaping with flowers of various colors, shapes and sizes. The terrain is mountainous here, although we’re only 2,000feet in elevation and considered still in the foothills. You know the saying, “High above the smog and just below the snowline.” What better living conditions can you get? I have found my place to want to stay, invest and die in.
I’m looking forward to my birding/photography trip tomorrow. To prepare for it I have to clean my binnocular and camera lenses, decide what I’ll bring for snacks, lunch and what I’ll have to drink.
Clothing is my next decision and I’ll know that when I check the weather report for that area.
