WEATHER CANCELLATIONS CAUSES NEW PLANS

Since the wintertime has decided to stick around this year, I had planned a birding/camping trip for three days this weekend. It was to be further north in California and with a bit more elevation. However, checking with the campground conditions, the group has cancelled. OK I said. I'll just look a little closer to home. Well, same thing. The birding leader said he doesn't know how the conditions will be today, but the other day it was covered with pretty deep snow. He is however, going with whomever wants to tread out there. I don't want to have to travel a mere, maybe 40 miles, even with carpooling, to find out there is too much snow to even walk to go birding. OK I said. Figure something out and pretty fast. I want to do some exercise. I just did the Biggest Loser DVD. OK. Now take a shower and go to the bike path and take a walk. That sounds good. Make sure dinner is planned. OK. Still working on the Chile I made. I've got salmon (fresh). Broccoli, rice. OK. Step one. Shut this darn computer off and just do it.
